I vehemently disagree. Mesmer has seen more than enough nerfs as it is.
You should be bringing more condi cleanse, resistance, or a team to do it for you.

What is the justification for balancing CI? I don’t see where you’ve spelled out why other than implying that the 33% chance at one of the conditions is “skill-less”.

I gave my opinion that is should be either nerfed or changed, reason being that i am all for traits with predictable counterplay- you know what happens If you get interrupted by a ci mesmer. Suddenly the victim can use a blind immune skill like utility goggles, for example. He knows he is going to get blinded on the interrupt. It can really turn a fight around with a 33% chance otherwise, which is something that i am against. It also helps bring the action away from the condition bar UI, like ANet wants. This is what i mean

Hmmm, well I think we have a fundamental disagreement with how the theme of Chaos works within Mesmer. Staff is the quintessential chaos weapon. Should Staff 1, 4 and 5 just offer one type of condition when procced? A lot of people would agree with your overall sentiments though with being anti-RNG, but I think that’s the inherent value of the chaos line and Mesmer in general. Lyssa, the goddess of chaos and… luck aka RNG.
And besides, interrupts in and of themselves already have counter play. Blinds, Aegis and Stability. Also, every enemy already knows what’s going to happen when you get interrupted by a CI Mesmer: you’re going to incur some soft CC each with its own specific limitations. If it’s cripple, then you have nothing to even worry about since you’re already immob anyway. lol That’s always been kind of useless imo.

Chaotic Interruption is one of the best balanced high skill/ high reward gm-worthy trait in this game. Period. Please dont touch it.
wow people really are trying to nerf everything they possible see on a mes. seriously,YES we are strong, and yes we deserve it! and yes after we have been hustling with broken mechanics a horrible trtait system and like 100 bug, i’d say, its about kitten time that the mes finally got buffs and is now an annoying opponent! i was about to delete this class for another one and lets face it, a new player struggled with the old mes, especially with the way they changed leveling up and unlocking traits and skills. mes is strong, annoying and definitely a class u should fear, but i dont think it is broken or op. i get countered all the time, so its not broken op.
so dear other classes, how about for once u try to adjust instead of crying. we had to adjust over and over and over and kept getting nerfed to the ground like with confusion( it did need a tweak at that time, but not 50% + bb nerf, but u guys whined soo much because u refused to take condi cleanse). so yeah welcome to the new mesmer that doesnt have to run 900 miles just to get the same result in dmg or gameplay like any other godkitten class out there!

I personally feel that CI is finally just as “strong” as it needs to be. I’ll admit that we have some traits that could use a bit of finetuning, but not this one.
Ah, Mesmer Stockholm Syndrome is in full effect, these days. Truth is, if anything, the wrong Mesmer abilities/traits have been … “adjusted,” lately. (Feel free to replace “adjusted” with “nerfed like mad.”)
