Does anyone know of any gs skins and armor sets that are cheap? Karma can be included also…

When I look at weapon skins I tend to find ones that suit my armor color, so what is your preference?

Otherwise check Gallery of greatswords. Personally I like peacemaker’s greatsword due to lightning effect and purple theme (yes I know the typical mesmer color).

You can also simply take a look at your wardrobe. Make sure you go to your bank, where you can also see the skins you don’t own yet.

Farm the skins in PvP. You can get dungeon track rewards opened by completing dungeon stories.

Sadly most dungeon weapons are ugly, ’specially for mes :P

Cobalt is a nice GS skin, especially love it in dark parts of the living story, it shines so brightly

Try cultural weapon skins they cost 63K karma I think and some (like the sylvari tier 3) are very nice. There are also pirate, lionguard, ebonhawke, Centaur, and order skins.

Check out the armor/weapon galleries here. Preview codes are included for each item. To see if it’s affordable, highlight and Google it (adding ‘gw2’ as necessary) and the gw2 wiki page will tell you the price on the TP/in karma/etc. :)

If you find it hard to use you can always select Explore up in the navbar and see palettes other made.

If you wvw and have a few badges lying around, check the badge vendor on the maps, he’s got a lot of racial skins for badges. Some of them are dirt cheap (like 12 badges or something like that), and they used to come directly as a ‘skin’ item, so no transmutation required. From that lot, i like the Aureate Highlander Sword a lot. It’s one of the few GS in this game that doesn’t look like it’s been dropped in a hydraulic press.
