I’ve been looking at the amulets and just got enough Laurels to buy 1, but I’m unsure which I’m going to go for now. It’ll be for WvW & PvE

Third-Place Medal: 126/prec 85/pow & 85/tough
v.s.
Call of the Wild: 126/pow 85/prec & 9% Crit

Atm I’m sitting at 2,106 power, 1,821 precision, 1,085 toughness, 47% crit chance & 80% crit damage.

I’m mainly stacking bezerker stats with some Knight pieces. Primarily using GS with Sword/focus.

Any help please?

You’ll eventually be in a position to replace your defense with more offense. Berserker, easily.

Not to mention ascended gear has some of the lowest stat loss per Crit % gain. If you’re currently on a Knight’s amulet and don’t want to lose any Toughness, get Berserker amulet and swap out an existing Berserker piece for a Knight’s piece.

Yeah I get you. I’d lose a bit of toughness from the amulet yeah, I have a knights Amulet, ring and Chest piece. The main reason I asked is as it’s a new item people may not have looked at it as much, and the amount of precision gain from the amulet is quite substantial, so I would be gaining 2% crit and some toughness, but losing out on Power and Crit damage.

Is there a certain crit % you should aim for, then build around crit damage/power etc? 47% feels a bit low for me, I’d love to get it to around 54% if possible, but I’m using runes of air, so maybe Eagle would have been a better choice?

@Sneaky Bear, Hi mate, Runes of air absolutley worth is if you do wvwvw, the speed is needed but the rune of air proc also is a life saver. I had a 6,3k proc today vs a lvl 80.

Crit % drop if you try gain toughness, power and crit dmg%. Best way to solv this is thru eat preci food, use oil and sigils.

Just so I’m clear, it’s worth losing some Crit % and toughness in favour of Crit damage % and power, then build up Crit % with food and oils?
