Guild Wars 2

Really breathed life into Mesmer for me. With a fresh spec and some Chronomancer love, I’m really having a blast playing my Mesmer. It feels more robust with such a simple added mechanic like Alacrity.

Most surprising aspects to enjoy was the wells in general. I really like the visuals, the feel and such. With necro wells, they are cool but you are kind of /shrug about using them many times, but I never have that with these.

I’m not a big fan of the shield though. Its focus feels to narrow, when I can have say offhand sword, torch or focus to balance defense and offense.

I actually love the shield. Specifically, the animations are very satisfying both visually, as well as the sounds they make.

The shield has alot of defense if you pair Sw/Sw and Sw/Sh, the #4 blocks are great, and then you have projectile blocking with CC which is always a plus

Im bad mesmer but i enjoy chrono, it gives way more options to setup mesmer combos, wells can change teamfight around. Still not used to shield but f5 into chaos storm into chaos storm is just great.

Shield 5 combos well with blinks incentives it returns to you not where you cast it, so you can shape where it goes or double the distance it travels in a straight line.

What I like most about Chronomancer is how it blurs the line between shatter and phantasm builds.
