Q:

Hey I’ve noticed a lot that after poping a clone or phant that if I doge using “Deceptive Evasion” it will not create a clone.

Am I not in combat from a phant or clone attack?
Is there some hidden C/D?
Is this working as intended?

Anyone else who runs shatter build find this a pain in the kitten If so how do you get around this for your combos, Is there something I am missing or do I need to pretty much open with a ranged attack to get a shatter combo out at the start of combat?

“I control time and space; you can’t break free.~”
“Maybe I was the illusion all along!”

I think it only works once you are “in combat” and have some enemy targeted. Target your victim, press 1, run up into range and then dodge.

Yes it is a pain in the … (think of the kittens, don’t say the word that becomes kitten).

Work around it, adapt to its quirks, like all the other “features”.

Yes it is annoying. What I find to work is waiting until my first hit lands and the mob has attacked me. Just attacking the mob isn’t as reliable. Once you have it’s attention though, you’re set.
