According to the Wiki it is either Weakness, Bleed or Vuln. Are you sure it’s coming from you? If so, think it was part of the recent patch maybe?

It never really made sense that it didn’t already apply this. I hope this was an intended fix.

Devs over in the engi forum said there were several updates and fixes that did not make it into the notes. We can expect an updated list.

The fact that there are any updates/fixes that don’t make it into the notes shows a severe lack of organization and communication. I mean honestly how hard is it to keep track of these things?!

It’s very easy, but there hasn’t been a single (literally not a single one) patch that hasn’t had stealth changes that were not announced in the notes. This is nothing new, but no less disappointing for being a regular occurrence.

Actually, it’s more of a “gets dropped from the list”. I believe each team writes a doc of their changes and then they have a writer write it all together but sometimes they miss a few things while trying to organize them. Look here for some such references as to this method: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/dungeons/Dungeon-Patch-Discussion-2-26

Saying “it’s easy” is aweful presumptuous, I doubt many of us are qualified to say where the possible ‘holes’ are in their system that lets stuff like this slip through.

However, I do notice that it’s usually skill or trait changes. Based on what I’ve heard them say, they use proprietary software for many of these changes that doesn’t necessitate much coding – Jon can jump in and change the area or the effect of a skill in moments. They once boasted about how quickly they could make such alterations, even with the game live.

Considering that process, I can see where it would be easy for such ‘quick changes’ to be lost in the shuffle compared to those that required lots of discussion and additional
design resources.

Considering that process, I get the impression that they are awfully slow in fixing all those wrong tooltips and numerical errors that wouldn’t require much programming work as well…

Updates get missed from release notes commonly in software development, the more elaborate the product the more likely that the update notes will be less comprehensive. It’s not a major blunder that this happens and given that in this case most of the changes will be found and updated in the wiki within a few days it’s hardly an issue.

where did you encounter that happening? sure not chaos storm was the source of poison or something else?
i cannot reproduce your findings

was trying it at chieftain/svanir in the mists and in pve just letting the mobs kill my clones (and with overwriting my clones at golem to force death) and poison does not get applied, nothing unusual just bleeding vuln and weakness as described in the wiki for dibiliating dissipation

I now also cannot reproduce now since the 2nd patch. Poison was renewing on the mobs from the clones. Did not use chaos storm at all to make sure. Too good to be true i suppose
