Guild Wars 2

Somewhat new to the class. My main was a Ele, rolled a Mesmer for fun and fell in love with the class. I like ranged DPS so I use Greatsword and Staff. Build idea is to stay at max range at all times and apply constant pressure with burst damage at the right time to finish people off.

illusions 15% more damage , Phantasms have fury, Dodge create clone, 20% staff cool down, 20% manipulation skill cool down, Phantasms give regen

Untils I run Decoy, Arcane thievery , Mimic and Elite I change out all the time depends on what I’m doing.

Gear armour all P/T/V Trinkets all Zerker.

Most of the time I open with GS burst to take 1/3 to 1/2 of the hp off to put ppl on defensive model. Then shatter and switch to staff and pumping out clones like crazy and stack confusion. Once they are low enough people usually start poping elites and such to recover or run. I use arcane thief and steal their buffs and switch to GS to burst them down.

I Find the only problem I have/had was with chain stealth thieves, but since I started using Mimic that problem has since gone away some what.
