From what I know this trait only increases the damage of the mesmer himself, not his clones/illusions. But does it affect the shatters as well?

Many shatter builds use this trait, even the meta ones so I figure it really does affect mesmer F1. But so far I haven’t really noticed when I was trying to test it.

I mean it has to work with it otherwise the ‘pros’ on the streams and ESL tournaments wouldn’t use it, I just want you guys to confirm

The reason for this question is the scale between Precise Wrack and Compounding Power.

Yes, it does work on shatters. If you dredge deep into the history of this forum you’ll find a thread somewhere comparing the two traits together. The conclusion was that compounding power is going to add slightly more damage to each shatter, even with quite high critical damage.
