Guild Wars 2

I was wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on Condi mesmer (or chrono) in Wvw at mesmer’s current state? Condi is my prefered playstyle, but I’m just not having much luck at the moment and considering either dropping chrono trait line (which i love, but if i must i must), or converting to power. Anyone having success with condi, and if so, what builds?

P.S. I know mesmer is in a pretty kittenty state at the moment, but mesmer is the only class i really enjoy (while i am good with most classes), so i’m trying to find a build that will at least be decent in the mean time

Power Chrono is mostly used in WvW, try keep the chrono trait line but switch from condi to power and see how you go, its much more enjoyable.

Use chrono traitline instead of one other traitline and i suggest sword/sheild or sword/sword with greatsword. You can also switch up your skills a bit – using some wells maybe if you want the alac but keep some invis skills for you to sneak in and murder other zergs

Sceptre/torch + staff, Illu/insp/chrono with dire still works very well or swap insp for duelling with rabid stats and ditch torch in favour of pistol for less sustain but more condi application. Just don’t be too surprised if you still get spiked down like you’re in full zerk – direct damage in WvW is incredibly high now and toughness just doesn’t have the same effect in anymore.

Condi mesmer has always seemed boring to me. I definitely prefer the high damage shatter mesmer.
