Im basically asking something like what is happening with druid and healing power. The healing output of that class is great with lots of heling power but without it the healing is poor.

I was wondering if something like that could happen with axe. That way u wont have condi mirages do crazy power dmg. And the condi dmg on power mirages isnt anything mental (its decent but not too crazy).

U could have hybrid mirages (since we know hybrid stats are comming) Being the midle ground. Its just that axe is so fun but i cant enjoy condi mesmer for my life.

That would prb mean that axe 2 wouldnt get a blur effect (or get a small one at most) since i think axe should be its own thing and not a flat out better sword (if the devs every give it better power scaling).

I was thinking they could make an Offhand Axe with skills that would work with power builds.

Idk if it will be worth to puck over the utility of off hands but dunno.

If by hybrid stats you mean Griever, you’re better off using Viper.

I think the only hybrid stat combo that Mesmer would want would be:

Precision/X + Y/Expertise

Where X and Y are either Power or Condition Damage. One of those stat combos would lean more towards Scepter the other would lean more towards Sword. They would both be able to utilize Axe, to some degree, and would both use Pistol.
