I recently decided to try Mesmer out for my self and all I have to say is

Jesus f****** Christ is it hard to survive as a Mesmer in pvp

You kittens may tend to annoy the heck out of me, but I can say now that you all have earned my respect

Especially you ridiculous f****** who always switch yourself with your clones in the blink of an eye, good lord youre beasts

that is all

This is quite true. Every time I feel inspired to my play my Mesmer in PvP because of their high mobility and utility, I get frustratingly annihilated.

I can see how mesmer feel bad to play against the clones create so much clatter its not even fun to watch.

Yep, and without Inspiration for some serious… kittens.

At the floor, Mesmer seems difficult. Most of the people on the forums are around that area and portray it as being some kind of underpowered class. At the ceiling, it’s one of the best. There’s a lot of things you don’t understand about Mesmer since you just picked up the class,

Meh that’s just called being new to a class mesmers more so Chronos and im assuming you’re referring to the condi meta build, if so they have a ton of methods to survive.

I do, on a regular basis. Chrono doesn’t feel good for me. You should hear the kittening I occasionally get playing PU. (Which, let’s face it, is kind of a Mesmer/thief )

Admittedly, I think thieves have a pretty high skill bar too.

Well to actually be able to constantly use it properly it is, its just like revs, and ofc mesmers

Anyone can pick it up, doing well with it on a constant basis is another thing

Ive seen ppl in map chat saying “omg thief pvp is so easy lolz”

Yet those are the same people I shut down the entire match on my thief…..yeah….sure…..those 8 deaths were easy for you to get huh?
