Daze duration
I run all of that (pretty positive sigil doesn’t work for dazes) and it puts me at 1 1/4 seconds of daze. Which with mantra+off sw+diversion you could potentially daze/stun someone for over 5 seconds.
Edit: Also with just the runes it keeps the daze at 1 second I’m pretty sure.

Sounds like the runes are broken then, that combo should make the daze last 1.5secs.
Does the tooltip on daze skills update with any of these? I’m guessing no?
I’ve been tempted by mesmer runes as well, but 0.33 secs of extra daze seems really weak compared to a lot of other 6-rune bonuses. Very niche.
With the rune only tooltip doesn’t change. With rune+CS it goes to 1sec and 1/4. I just want to know if the tooltip is bugged or it really suck so hard.
Afaik the tooltip is bugged, only CS shows in tooltip. As for Daze duration (1 sec base):
1. 1,25 secs Daze
2. 1,5 secs Daze
3. 1,75 secs Daze
I think someone proved that two Sigil of Paralyzation stack. According to the wiki Sigil of Paralyzation works on both Stun and Daze.

I agree on 1 and 2. I’m not sure about 3 and it is a bit hard to test. 3 should add up to 73% and I do not know if it would actually round up to 75% or if it only counts full quarters. If the latter is the case, you would still end up with a 1.5s Daze.

I looked in the wiki (well I looked up Condition Duration since there is no specific page for Daze Duration, we can only assume they both work the same way) and it says that only the tooltip will be rounded to the nearest full quarter, the actual duration is what it should be, in our case a Daze Duration of 1,73 secs. I’m not quite sure how to test if this is indeed true and works the same way as Condition Duration.
Do we actually know that Daze only works in 0,25s increments? As in, did someone capture the video and count frames to make sure?

No, that’s actually the problem as it’s difficult to measure accurately. I remember a similar post to this one a couple weeks back and the answer wasn’t ultimately available or validated. It would take a coordinated two people with stopwatches to really give this a proper test/validate results. Here is the prior thread; looks like this person did quite a bit of testing themselves, for what it’s worth.
