Q:
Debilitating Dissipation range?
A:
I’m not sure what skill you are talking about – I’m not playing in english but I guess it’s a “if a clone dies” thing?
If yes, it’s the same explosion ø as the shatter skills – 240ø, 5 target AoE.

Yea, it’s ‘Chaos’ trait V. Clones apply a random condition to nearby foes when they are killed.
Thanks for the answer!
Imo they should remove vulnerability and add blind or something. Vulnerability simply does nothing for us .__.
And a 240 radius sounds right.

I think you’re right about the Vulnerability; which is terrible. I could never find an actual answer if condition damage is in any way affected by it. Wish that trait actually applied a random condition like it says instead of just one of the three.
No it should not have more conditions, or shouldn’t have more damaging conditions anyway. The more conditions it has the less reliable applying the initial conditions becomes. As it is it allows for some damage from bleeds, but also has the CC component, then the vulnerability.
As for vulnerability, it stacks high and fast with the right build and enough skill. Coupled with the right build it amounts to your opponent being destroyed.
I can only guess that the QQ is a result of vulnerability proccing in your full condition builds. If that’s the case then that’s YOUR liability. Don’t ruin the game for everybody else because you build poorly.
Lol, hold off on your accusations. I’m happy with my build so count me out!
All I’m wondering at this point is if vulnerability boosts condition damage. Does anyone know for sure?
no it doesn’t – nothing boosts condition damage – except condidion damage o.O dat sentence but if you see something like +10% damage vs XY or what ever – it does NEVER affect condition damage.

Well that was quick! Cheers Xyonon!
Thats also a reason why condition damage is “terrible” tbh. It scales poorly and does not get increased by vournability. It needs time to take effect wich is bad in open world but ok in dungeons but there, there are allways plenty of vournability stacks wich are useless for you and also if there are 25 stacks of bleeding for example, you will deal just a tiny little damage for the team with that condition.
BUT (god i love butts … nvm) Arenanet is about to buff conditions in PvE wich is probably going gonna be awesome, especially for Necro, Engi and Ele. Lets see how it affects the mesmer and confusion.

Oh really? Well I’m looking forward to that then. Was this based on a leak or just the dev responses around the forums? I’m just wondering how you heard about that.
It has been announced by devs.

Do you have a source on that?

As a heavy armored if u ve 3000 armor Damage reduction ll be %38.8
and 1 vulnerability would equal to -48 Toughness
and protection grants u +3348 Toughness
Weakness will give -458power(if dont have any power) to…………-1250power(if u ve 2500 power)
if u ve 3000 power and target has 3000 armor 1 vulnerability will be equal to grant u 30 power
If u ve 2300 armor as a light armored Damage reduction ll be %20.17
and 1 vulnerability would equal -29.5 Thoughness
vulnerability effectivenes increases with how many ally hit the enemy who has vulnerability.. as well protection effectivness incresses how many enemy is hitting u..
etc.. etc.. u ll choose vulner or bleed?
if u ve 2200 power 40cChance 70cDamage 0 condi damage and target has 2600 armor
exp u use Blurred Frenzy on this enemy who has 2600 armor and 1 stack vulnerability
Blurred Frenzy do avarage 2834.5 Direct Damage for 3sec with no vulnerability, with vul. it gives 283,45 more damage
or with sword #1 auto attack can do 2 times chain in 5 sec that can do 5920,74to……6400avarage direct damage.. 592to….640 more damage vulnerability will give for 5sec 1 stack… where has Bleeding 42.5 Per Sec that bleed can be 7 sec that can be total 297.5 where vulnerability has 5 sec example on staff
if condition damage goes 1300 107.5 damage per tick that can be do 752.5 damage in total vulnerability
so compare to Bleed or vulnerability them as this
- bleed can to %27 to…%17 more damage in total where it has hangicap with %20 more duration..
- vulnerability has increasing effect where others can attack him as well that it ll increase the effectiveness… if 2 ally attack vulnerability effectiveness goes doubled… or more more…
is the simple math… it just to give some more perspective…

Yeah the next balance patch was originally supposed to be 10/1 but they moved it to 10/15 a couple weeks back.
EDIT: As for the OP question, I have never liked the RnG nature of the trait but it’s good.
