Deceptive Evasion Bugged?
Unfortunately the dodge clones always attack the nearest target, which is not necessary your target. (the clone will also shatter on the ‘wrong’ target)
If there is no target in range the clone will just stand around doing nothing. On shatter it will simply explode where it stands. If a target moves into range the clone will attack it.
We don’t even know if this is a bug or “working as intended”. I say it’s a bug.
The only thing that bothers me is that the clone attacks neutral targets (like moas). Pretty annoying since it recruits more opponents in PVE.
But the “random” target selecting is useful for diversion shattering, multi mobs tagging trough shattering, … Hope it doesn’t get “fixed”.
I’m pretty sure if the generating mechanic would be change (i.e. player target based) there would be no generated against (for example) a stealthed thief.
