Not in the dungeon fights, but along the way it’s a pain. Take a prime example, in HotW the first and third paths have that area where you cross a bridge with mobs underneath and dogs that are nearby. Often groups will kill the dogs and ignore the mobs below the bridge. No problem. Kill the dogs and everything is great. Then you get to the last enemy. A mesmer dodge rolls. A clone runs across the bridge, down the stairs, below the bridge again and attacks a mob.

This needs to be fixed. It’s silly. I’ve gotten to where I remove the trait now in a dungeon. Too much trouble.

Why change traits if your build is already optimal for the dungeon. It’s this one trait and it’s bugged nature. No reason for the clone to go rouge. It should attack the mob you’re targeting. And I do change traits when it’s necessary. It just shouldn’t be in this case.

I agree completely, the DE clone should target who you have selected not whatever random mob or inanimate object (my dumb clones where always blowing up on the scenery in Tixx…..) that happens to be nearby

I hate having to turn it off when it’s so useful for the build I’m running. I try to avoid it, but sometimes I have to. It’s the only case where I’ve seen clones target something other than what I’m attacking and it’s really annoying. I hope they read this and get working on it. :/
