So, here’s the deal. It’s pretty obvious by now that Chronomancer Specialization is strong. I’m ok with that, it knows what it’s supposed to do and does it. The only issue is that what it offers is far more than what most other specs give in comparison, no trait wasted and strong synergy within and outside of itself.

Thus here’s a thread dedicated to community suggestion to how to balance the Core specs to Elite level. Make no mistake, this problem is not isolated to just Mesmer, but affects all/most professions across the board. However, let’s focus on ourselves for now.

The suggestions can be from changing or creating traits to simply be stronger or synergize better with other traits. This can stretch to lackluster skills as well. Remember to stay organized to help people read through these.

To start off with:

Inspiration

• Healing Prism: Either revert the nerf to this or slice off the ICD to 1s.
  OR change HP to
• Inspirational Outburst: Shattering creates a Blast Finisher around the Mesmer.

I’m half-n-half towards my Outburst suggestion because Inspiration is meant more as a phantasm line, however felt it’s support theme might also support this trait.

Engineers already got the right fix. They had the same problem with their healing trait, and it got changed to a %heal trait. Just do the same here, they’ve already proven they’re ok with it.

Indeed, this might be an easier fix to HP than anything else. Just copy and paste, really.

The nerf really was idiotic because it was the only trait which synergized well with healing shatters and so forth to become support-like.
