Theory crafting: What is the max duration of Distortion on allies?

Setup:

• Distortion is invulnerability for “usually” 1 second: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Distortion
• Signet of Inspiration shares your boons with allies: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Signet_of_Inspiration
• Boon duration improves the 1 second of distortion: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Boon_Duration

Max Boon Duration: +69% or +76%

• 6 x +4% Platinum Doubloon: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Platinum_Doubloon
• +15% Traveler runes: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Superior_Rune_of_the_Traveler (technically Water rune provides 20%, but yeah… travelers are so OP anyways)
• +20% from food
• +10% from utility
• you could put 2 more platinum doubloons on your weapons for +8% more

So lets say that distortion is now 1.7s PER illusion shattered
Steps:

1. summon 3 clones (not phantasms)
2. shatter with distortion
   at this point you have 1.7 * 3 = 5.1s of distortion
3. 4 elementals with earth warhorn 4: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sand_Squall
   At this point you have 5.1 + 8 = 13.1s of distortion
4. activate signet of inspiration and share about 12 seconds of distortion
5. summon a phantasm and share again about 11 seconds of distortion

Did we just give those 4 elementals 23 seconds of invulnerability?

Obviously.. it’s more likely to be around 20 seconds or so because of timing, etc. but seriously… 20 seconds of invulnerability?

Distortion is not a boon so it shouldn’t be affected by boon duration IIRC.

That totally makes sense. alright. Clears that small panic up.
