Guild Wars 2

So today I went to an empty bg with a friend to test the “masterfull reflection” trait. The idea was the following: He uses ult, frenzy, bull’s charge and hb, I counter with Mirror Images and Distortion. Now the problem is: as soon as i get invulnerable, his hb gets canceled and the reflection has no effect.

Is this intended to protect the warri from killing himself (i guess the reflected hb and the frenzy-debuff could deal enough damage)? Or a bug?

I was under the impression that reflection meant projectiles, not melee? Or am I wrong?

Reflection only works on projectiles. It doesn’t work on melee, ground-targeted AoE or non-projectile ranged attacks.

Also, Masterful Reflection only works on the Shatter Distortion. It does not work on Blurred Frenzy or Blurred Inscriptions.

That explains it, of course. I was just a bit confused, because the tooltips of most (all?) skills granting reflection say “reflect projectiles” and not “grants reflection”.

Well at least it should help me with those annoying rangers.
