Title says it all. I think the tooltip says “nearby allies” but .. you are your own ally .. and you are near yourself.. so can they heal themselves?

Switched to a spec with Phantasmal Healing last night and they do heal eachother.

But .. if you have 1 phantasm, he wont have regeneration?

I haven’t tested it extensively, it’s just something I noticed in passing, so I dont’ want to try and answer that definitively.

However, at this time I’d say no just because the tooltip reads ‘grants allies regen’.

I remember someone else saying that trait that heals when using mantras (I believe worded the same way – heals nearby allies) heals you as well.. so this is why I was thinking it might be the case.

The whole purpose is adding some longevity to phantasms, although probably not much.

They buff eachother but not themselves. Normally when tooltips say “grants allies x” it includes the caster, but this appears to be an exception.

It actually does add a decent amount of longevity to them. If you have 3 illusions out at once, they do suprisingly well at keep eachother up through some AoE. Of course any direct targeting on them will take them down.
