So, the Reaper apparently seems to deal more dmg, the more foes he engages with certain skills. Maybe there will be even more effects.

I personally like the mechanic. But the question is, does this punish illusion spamming?

I also think that lockdown Chronomancer might be the Reaper’s doom^^

What’s more relevant is that they have high wind up on the great sword skills so any firm of cc is going to be he end of them.

at the same time, they’ll love the quickness we can provide (both as mesmers and chronomancers)…

Yeah, it does.

I personally hate running into Necros in PvP as it is, because I feel like there’s nothing I can do to dislodge them from a point as I slowly die from a pile of conditions. But it sounds like the Reaper might actually be vulnerable to interrupt builds, at least if they actually use the Greatsword. So that’s nice for us.

Not necessarily true. They might still get that Break Bar. More relevant, though, is how Chronomancer’s might have synergy with Reaper in that we’ll be speeding their long cast times up and helping them dominating with Time Warp and Tides of Time.
