[Edit] GS Power/Clone Spam Build (4/4/2/2/2)
I was running a similar build in WvW zergs long before the patch. After a while I found Empowering Mantras (the 4% damage increase per charged mantra) not worth it because it doesn’t affect my phantasms. Your build here is more shatter-oriented, and shatter does benefit from Empowering Mantras. My build was more a phantasm build with full berzerker equip.
I’ve decided to drop Empowered Mantras and go for Restorative Mantras instead. That was a way better choice for me, giving me extra-healing whenever I recharge a mantra. Mantra of Pain works great for that, you can even heal your fellow players with it.
So my suggestion: Make it a 4 6 0 2 0 build instead.
(edit: of course it should be 4 6 0 4 0 instead, the new system still confuses me)
PU is not really needed when you run with a zerg or group. Multiple stealth abilities and blink should be enough to get out of ugly situations.

I think you meant make it a 4 6 0 4 0 build, with Restorative Mantras.
And hmm… that’s an interesting idea. I do find it quite annoying after playing a bit to constantly keep both Mantras up for the 8% boost. Especially if it’s only for myself.
Does Restorative Mantras heal only those around me, or myself as well? Spam heals with Mantra of Pain sounds fun haha. Sucks it’s only only Mantra CHARGE and not USE. =/ Will have to think about that one.

Restorative Mantras heals up to five allies a little over 2,600 when you charge a mantra. This can include Illusions, for better or worse.
The radius of the effect is 360, or roughly the size of a Time Warp bubble.
I might actually try something like this tonight instead…
Sort of a “Clone Spam” GS Power build, where I want to just spam clones for Vulnerability/Bleeds, and still only shatter for massive burst/kills so I keep the 6-9% damage boost.
Looks like it might be fun.
