Ether feast
I think the devs said somewhere that this skill was already in a good place just like shelter so they decided not to change it.

Yeah, they said that. My question is, do you agree?
There are several healing skills that Anet purposefully neglected to put into a skill category. This was usually done because they felt the skills were already balanced well as-is, and adding the additional trappings of traits would introduce imbalance.
Ether feast is a strong and competitive heal just as it is. It’s one of the highest scaling heals in the game, has one of the highest base heal values, and is on a reasonable cooldown. There’s no need for it to be affected by traits.
That’s why Rangers get HoA, which heals for nearly the same while being a shout and granting a lot of boons :>

We heal as one is better if you use ether feast with no illusions out.
If you get illusions out, ether feast scales higher on healing power and heals for base 15% more.
I absolutely agree with OP, Ether Feast needs a slight bump.
I’m not saying that it needs a boost. Maybe the base healing should go down and always summon a clone.
What I’m saying is that it should be subject to trait synergies to encourage further build diversity.
I’m not sure how this fits in, but I’ve always wondered if Phantasmal Defender wouldn’t be better as a heal skill.

This would mean getting rid of Ether Feast all together and getting a new 4th illusion utility.
I’m not sure if I like that or not.
Ether Feast can easily become a Clone heal, just make it conjure an Clone at the beginning/end.
Of course that also means its CD has to be increased to compensate for Illusionist’s Celerity, which no doubt is why Anet didn’t do It. it’s in a good place already, no need to rock the boat.

We already have a heal-per-illusion: Signet of Ether. And it’s already been established that its hps is dramatically lower than its competitors. With Ether Feast gone, you could (should?) buff Signet of Ether.
It could be made a glamour, therefore not having any CD change. But then it would need to have some ally support built in, which would overlap with well of eternity… Or you would need a unique added benefit, but then it is just a new skill.
Changing ether feast to an illusion is dangerous considering the amount of traits affecting illusions.
It could have been made a manipulation, and mirror changed to a glamour which reflects projectiles around you… but that would have basically replaced feedback…
I’m afraid its best place is exactly where it stands right now.

That’s the change I was thinking about. But I didn’t want to state it to listen to fresh ideas.

That actually sounds like a great idea
