Give mesmers longbows!

I vote short bows. Because then we could get The Dreamer and have 3 clones shooting unicorns with us.

Those would be awesome! Although I would settle for them making the existing weapons bug free and viable.

I am just as excited about getting new weapons for the class either from new weapons entirely or from existing ones becoming available, but at the same time you have to look at what defines a character class. Certain classes being able to use certain weapons adds definition to that class and adds a uniqueness to it that would be overlapped if the weapons were widely available. I have a Mesmer main and a Ranger alt and I admit I have thought at times how awesome it would be to have my Mesmer fire a few arrows. I want it just as much as everyone else but I’m just trying to be the mediator here. :P

But the beauty about Guild Wars 2 is that different classes have different skills for the same weapon. I imagine Mesmers using shortbows more like Klingon battleths with only the occasional arrow being shot out. We really don’t need another 2-handed long-range weapon but turning a 2-handed bow into an unorthodox melee weapon would match the mesmer M.O. Also the Dreamer would still be a desirable legendary because I can’t imagine a harder way of trolling sexist homophobes than dancing around like a ballerina while physically curbstomping them with a “My Little Pony” bow!

If only I could curtsy afterwards while saying, “I just loved and tolerated the HELL out of you! Teehee!”

Dear Santa, please give my mesmer a Mainhand Pistol (900-1200traited ranged power based) and I’ll never complain on these forums again…

Dual-wielding chakrams, like the ones in Kingdoms of Amalur! After all, there were chakrams in GW1 that mesmers use. Oooo, crossbows would work too!

Mainhand focus (as long as the focus gets a fan skin), whips (would that be onehand or twohand?), mainhand pistol, chakrams.

And I still don’t understand why we (as magical duellists) didn’t get an offhand dagger.

For the Expansion…

I want no new content, classes or abilities. I’d like the expansion to make GW2 work as promised.

In the expansion Mesmers along with Guardians, Elementalists, Thieves, and Warriors will be removed from the game due to people having complained for months of how OP these classes are.

Apparently you aren’t aware if how people work. If everyone was the exact same they’d complain that WvW team colors gave some worlds an unfair camouflage advantage :-P

I’d take a mace, don’t kill me for it, but I want to be able to have a dance party with my clones.

2 handed hammer, with blast finishers and more defensive options compared to the GS.
