Guild Wars 2

I’ve read most of the forum posts in here, and while I agree with most that we need to be fixed…. I’m tired of seeing all this ‘negativity’

Anyway I hope people will read this and post funny things that happened to or was caused by there mesmer.

I’ll start:

During WvW, some enemies were trying to get back in the tower to defend. Anyway, there was a downed thief like literally 1 inch away from the door and he used that stealth skill on down. I didn’t see him at all to be honest, but since I had Clone on Dodge trait, the clone somehow managed to find the thief and hit him with the sword.

Today I took 4 invaders on a 15 minute round of hide-and-seek through blue keep ruins in eternal battlegrounds. sword/torch, staff, and blink+decoy+mirror images made for some confused (in many senses of the word) invaders. I’m pretty sure I killed them all once but couldn’t stop them from rezzing, they finally caught me after I blew blink+decoy too far away from a good corner.

at a waterfall somewhere around ascalon I used the staff blink, ended up inside a stone.
Reasoning that hey, it got me in this mess, might get me out, I waited for the blink to refresh and used it again. Ended up underneath the world. Turns out under the world, theres tons of water!

Managed to down a warrior but then I got downed myself after he used his vengeance downed skill. I managed to stall enough with the downed decoy but when he got to me to stomp me, as he was in the air and about to smash my face in, he died and I rallied.

Was doing some WvW, stormed a keep. Some guardian up high on the central catwalk with a ballista who was shooting at me before the doors fell missed his chance to waypoint out and was being attacked by my allies.

He was actually pretty good, taking on about 2 or 3 guys and winning. The catwalk made it a bottleneck because a misplaced dodge would make you fall to your death so it was easy for him to take on multiple players at once.

Suddenly he used binding blade on an ally on low health that was falling back to heal and pulled me close too as a result, probably unwillingly. Either that or he obviously forgot how he was able to know exactly where I was and attack me with the ballista from so far away; the big shiny lasers coming out of my greatsword.

A gentle yet satisfying push from GS #5 sent that charr in full health flying straight off the edge.

While at one of the skill points somewhere in WvW, I alt tabbed to check my browser for a bit. When I went back on GW2, I was being pounded by a thief and I was already about half life. Luckily he wasn’t a burst thief so I was still alive. I managed to down him but he downed me too right after I did so. What transpired after was a bloody match of throwing stones at each other to the death. I won though.

I knew an enemy zerg was coming up from Godslore to Woodhaven on our borderland. We were outnumbered, and what numbers we did have were huddling the cliffs below citadel (the enemy had wood and was trebbing garrison). Feeling we were being far to ineffectual, I decided to wait at the top of the cliffs for the horde. They came charging up, and a thief was the first to pounce. Knowing he was coming I dropped a chaos storm to make sure I hit him, then dropped a temporal curtain right by the cliff. The rest of the zerg was within range at that point and my hps were melting fast. I fired the pull, then went to downed. My downed life was melting just as fast when the thief who’d attacked and been pulled splattered on the rocks below. I rallied, solo, being whailed on by 30 guys and made a break for it. I had a good laugh

Fought a Bunker Necro over a point in capricorn, he was really kittenin good but so was, I wkittenter cat Sp/Staff . Between Deathshroud his regen and life stealing man it took forever to get this guy. But he also could not kill me slowly he was running out of death shroud, he was losing this fight albeit slowly

Suddenly a thief shows up but strangely doesnt attack, then a warrior…they both stand by Cheering for their necro buddy… maybe they wanted to see if he was going to win… maybe they were on vent and the necro told them to hold off… I dunno

another minute or so passes and I finally stomp the kitten…

the thief says good fight, ready to die ?
the warrior and thief begin to move in…. I type BRING IT ON! just as I decoy then blink….then mass invis !

Muwahahahahahaha should have killed me when they had the chance!

Then 30 seconds later I came back with a theif and and we took the point back = D the warrior died instanteously I love glass cannon warriors lol

LMFAO I figured it out. Was + Shatter has a word that is a lot like “Butt Hat” in it.

My favorite is when a guardian and I fought a good fight, got guardian down and time warp up, landed a stomp just as a thief jumped me, im here at 5k~hp. I hit mirror immages and mindwrack, got him down to 30% and he got me in downstate. I did the stealth tele and started spam nr 1. Now i notice time warp boost downstate abilitys aswell and in a few sec of gattling gun downstate nr 1 I got thief down, get a assasin phantasm on him and succed to kill him in down state and res when in at 5% downstate hp.

Hmm edited, my funnies memmory must thu be when I jumped a mesmer who looked afk in the wild, land a full burst but he hitts immune, then he opens a portal and a group of angry frensh players pour out and gank me. I did a real panic scream over teamspeak and scared my cat…

Back when I was leveling mesmer and well, now and on any class, too, I tend to train a LOT. I’ll run to the spot where I want to be, towing whatever tries to agro on me, and then ditch it. With mesmer, though, dodging while training will toss a clone.

I don’t loose any sleep over sacrificing a clone, but one time I noticed that my clone was living an extraordinarily long time after dropping it in a pack of stuff. After a while, the clone finally died. Right after that, a player-downed marker appeared exactly where the clone-dot vanished and then promptly changed to a player-dead marker.

Conclusion: some poor soul fought to the death to save my clone’s life.

I was downed inside the wall of the eastern EB keep. Someone repaired the wall at the same time and I survived. I was standing there for a minute just sorta spying and an ele some how targetted me and was trying to AoE… unsuccessful. I started toying with her and friends with temporal curtain, yanking them around.

Eventually, I decided to get out and found I was basically stuck, as a last ditch effort I jumped and blinked and found myself unexpectedly somehow inside the keep. Then I put down a ram site just as a gag. The npc’s and a couple invaders got me but i had a good laugh I hope they did too. (o:
