I’m mostly concerned about PvP WvWvW small group and zerg support. I took Feedback and Null Field for group utility. Null Field also creates a combo field which is nice and helps keep Chaos Armor up. It can also spread some confusion with the Berserker, so there is some synergy there too. I also took Blink because I love blink as an escape mechanism and stun breaker. It makes me happy when I get incapacitated and then blink from channelled melee skills.

I want to keep Sharper Images for illusion bleeds as well as Illusionary Elasticity ( love this trait! ). Rampager equipment seemed like a good balance between all the stats. Lyssa gives complete condition removal on time warp and more precision. Still looking for a better option.

I would love to stretch out my health pool a bit more. Is Superior Rune of Sanctuary bugged? I guess I would consider that if the (2) bonus was still boon duration. I absolutely love getting huge might stacks 1v1 and keeping fury a bit more active. Any other suggestions to stretch out my survivability a bit without losing the group support utility skills? Probably mostly looking for rune/sigil suggestions as well. Thanks!

My current build is almost identical to this (I just use Debilitating Dissipation instead of Illusionary Defence in the Chaos tree). I haven’t done a whole lot of PVP yet, but I’ve noticed the staff gives great survivability.

I feel like the build has a good balance of damage and survivability. I haven’t toyed around with runes too much yet so I don’t think I can give you much advice.

The main weaknesses I’ve found with the build so far is AoE (especially with Chaos Storm on cool down) and very skilled mobile ranged attackers (usually in a 1 v 2 fight). I find that feedback is great, but once the ranged classes learn to recognize it, it’s so easy for them to strafe out of it. 1 v 1 isn’t too bad because you can overwhelm the ranged attacker, but as you start facing more it becomes a struggle. I am still working on some better techniques to counter this.

Thanks Koega, good to hear your experiences. Yeah, I use staff as more of a “turtle up”, blow CDs and close range weapon. The majority of my pewing is done with the GS. I’m getting a little better on placing the little AoE GS boon strip, but that’s what I’m trying to get down now. That and judging Blinks. Sometimes it’s difficult to intuitively determine if you can blink somewhere or not. I guess that will come with more experience.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I was having a difficult time choosing between Illusionary Defence and Debilitation Dissipation. DD definitely has a more noticeable effect. With clones on dodge rolls and all, I should definitely reconsider. Thanks!
