With the new patch … is there a build for world bosses and stuff ? (GS especially)

You can always go with the updated Lazy Kai Build. While you may have to adapt a bit for world bosses, it will be working great in general open world.

I have a second build too, called Crazy Kai Build, which is way more active than the Lazy Kai Build. It is not yet published though. If you are looking for a very active playstyle I can post you some traits and stuff.

Edit: Well, here it is. If you like to dodge and shatter, and shatter more, this is your first choice.

I recently changed my build to a very similar build (but not exactly) to the above crazy kai build. It does appear to be pretty strong and very active (open world pve).

Before I did it, I was about to give up on my mesmer, it seemed to be so weak. Of course, when anet nerfs the mesmer more, I may have to give it up, anyway.
