There are a couple of decent threads on Condition builds.

Jewels: Emerald Orichalcum jewelery of the Carrion
Armor: Carrion Exalted of Lyssa, and you can transmute karma armor to get the precision/toughness/condition stats on 4/6 pieces (check that bunker build link, that guy has the idea in his vid)
Tactic is pretty simple: Generate 3 clones, and shatter. Stack confusion constantly. Every CD used, or manuver made generates confusion. Sceptre torch are my mains, Sceptre is a mid to close range weapon. You want to keep constant pressure on your enemy, and kite when it suits you or you need some time to cooldown. You can bomb if you like, or take it slow as the need arises. You also have a lot of blindness (including aoe blind), so you can further shut our your enemies (the blind doubles as confusion stacking too). Sounds simple anyway, takes practice to sort it all out like anything.

You can swap out 2 Nightmare armor sigils for 2 Mad King. Use Super Veggy Pizza for a total of +113% Confusion Duration. Rare Veggy Pizza really isn’t worth it.

GW2: it’s like DAoC, but for the WoW crowd.

I’m guessing the armor and jewelry are carrion? with vit, power, and cond. That looked like it needed tons of skill to play, I liked how you kept them going back and forth through your glamours lol. I’ll try this out, hopefully I have enough gold for yellow armor. thanks!

Ah … the ever on-going debate …
Toughness vs Vitality
Condition Damage vs Condition Duration

Ok … grabbed some fast data on the two builds …
Rabid (Con Damage, Precision, Toughness) vs Carrion (Con Damage, Power, Vitality) : http://tinyurl.com/a6h4wh7 (pdf)
Breakdown …
You have ~38% more hitpoints with Carrion, but you take ~35% less damage from non-Condition attacks with Rabid
You do ~8% more Confusion damage with Rabid (8 Undead), but Confusion lasts 24% longer with my Carrion build (2 Lyssa, 2 Nightmare, 2 MadKing)
You have a ~29% better chance to crit non-Condition attacks with Rabid, but you deal ~38% more damage with non-Condition attacks with Carrion.

I want to maximize vitality while keeping my condition damage over 1200 and toughness respectable. So, I use Shaman gear (Vit/cond/heal) with undead runes and I am specced 0/20/30/0/20. Wasting potential on the gear?

Your Build:
- Shaman (Toughness, Condition Damage, Healing) + 6 Undead (assumes Staff w/+50)
- 0/20/30/0/20
vs
My Build:
- Carrion (Condition Damage, Vitality, Power) + 2 Mad King, 2 Nightmare, 2 Lyssa
- 20/0/0/20/30

Can you please redo it? Shaman is vitality/healing/cond damage. You listed toughness/cond/healing, which would be the new apothecary gear (which I considered but didnt want to kitten my HP) On the Shaman gear, vitality is the main stat component.
And yes I use 6 undead runes with the staff +50 tough…
You are going to need to show me your stats because all I have to go on is sPvP builders that show Shaman as Toughness/Condition Damage/Healing

Ahhhh. I will have to gather some numbers when I get home. At work right now. If I were still at home, I would be in game and not on the forums =).
You don’t have to put all of the same stat gear on for non-sPvP. Just got 1/2 Rabid and 1/2 Carrion (or Shaman/Apoth/Soldier).
