Guild Wars 2

I was wondering what sigils most Mesmers like on their Greatswords. I’ve recently got my mesmer to 80, and have been finding Sigil of Fire great for open world zerg content. I also have a Sigil of Strength for a little extra punch.

Sigil of Fire is good for AOE open world stuff if you are power.

Sigil of Earth (bleed on crit) works well if you have 50-60% crit chance, as your main attack does 3 attacks, giving you a few tries to apply it. I think it has a 2 second ICD.

Sigil of Bloodlust, the +10 power per kill, comes in handy, although you can usually put this on a weapon swap that you don’t use as often if GS is your “Main” weapon.

As a Mesmer, if you’re running a shatter build/rely on producing clones a lot, Sigil of Energy on both weapon swaps is incredibly valuable too.

energy x2 is amazing well worth the 10g a pop. Doesn’t matter what build you use imo dodge is never wasted .

edit x2 as in 1 on GS one on the other weapon set don’t want you waste gold and put 2 on the same weapon

Energy + fire/battle/doom/air…

I run the superior generosity Sigil as well as an energy sigil on all of my weapon sets. The Prolongued fights the Mesmer usually gets into turns Condition transfer into a huge advantage up to the point where you intentionally enter an enemy poison field just so you can transfer the condition before the opponent heals.
