Guild Wars 1 Mesmer look?
learning how to throw yourself at the ground and miss.
It’s tough to get something exactly like what we could have in GW1… but there are some options that, when died and combined well, get pretty close.
the Human Cultural T2 looks pretty good:

I just turn off the shoulders/helm and use Vigil boots instead of the clunky ugly ones that come with the set.
For outfits, the Noble Count is definitely a good choice. Exemplar is perfect as well:

Finally, the HoM set is super mesmery. Trench coat instead of short coat… but it fits well. http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Heritage_armor_
The pants and boots are just the dungeon armor from Ascalon Catacombs. The coat is the Hall of Monument Heritage armor. The shoulders and gloves are hidden.
I think I got it all set. The only problem I’m having is the massive clipping issues with the Human T2 pants. The white frizzles on the side clip through almost every Boot option, but I’ve narrowed it down to the Apprentice Boots. Although it clips them too, if you dye them right, you can’t see it…Otherwise I’ll use Vigils or the Magicians.
Thanks all! Will update with a picture!

Are you unable to get the HoM because it’s down/bugged? I played GW1 far from religiously, didn’t worry about any achievements and didn’t finish most of the story lines etc. Basically very casual and I was still able to get the full set when I linked it to GW2. If you just sorta played GW1 you should have enough points for the armor. Unless as said it’s down/bugged.

I forgot my login information, all the way down to the User Name (it was a @comcast.net user name, to give you an idea of how old it was). But no matter, if I ever decide to devote the time to getting it recovered, I’ll definitely check out the HoM. It’s just been almost 7 years since I played GW1.
Thanks, though.
