I cannot seem to use Mimic to “Echo” my Mimic via use of Continuum Split.

This might actually make me quit the game. Pls fix soon-ish.

Just logged in to try it. This is definitely a bug. For some reason, mimic doesn’t recognzie itself as a utility skill.

This even happens if I change the slot of mimic just before using it the second time after continuum split.

This interferes heavily with my “Master of Manipulation” triple reflect strat, and needs to be fixed at Anet’s next convenience. Thanks for pointing this out OP.

does it happen with adrenal mushrooms too? :p

What you can do is start channeling mimic and press CS mid-channel. You will reset Mimic but you will have Echo on. What you do next is use your Utility skill once. Because of Echo the cooldown will reset. Then you Mimic again and you will gain Echo again and then you can use that Utility skill twice more. Basically this means triple Blinks, Feedbacks, Wells etc. Great thing about it is that you can even use it out of combat as 1,5 seconds is more than enough time to get this working. I mostly use it for Blink to get 3600 distance in two seconds.

That would be ridiculous, mesmers spamming echo to copy echo constantly untill all other cds have been reset, then the fight can begin
