It seems sword 3 leaps to were the target was when cast, so if they are simply moving it wont immob since the clone is nowhere near them. The 2 roots you in place again moving away from the mes negates alot of damage. and besides cleansing cripple and blink we dont have much mobility. Im starting to think even tho scepter is a condition wep that it would be better for a power build since you wont have to be 130 range to auto attack, the block does decent damage and the channel also does damage on par with sword 2 but its ranged and stacks 5 confusion.

anyone else using a scepter ikittenerker build? OR any l2p tips for using a mh sword okittenerker mes?

Please do not use scepter. It’s useless in spvp. I use GS/sword+pistol in spvp and do just fine. I win most 1v1 fights and hold points well. You just have to get used to the class mechanics. Sword 3 is useful to stop someone from running but you have to use it quickly and be close to the target. Sword 2 is great to use if you land the root with sword 3 or use pistol 5 to stun. You do a lot of damage with sword 2 and are invulnerable while you use it

I use Scepter/torch, con/tough/prec build in spvp. I can bunker a point, 1v1, and offer group aoe support via shatter/blind (not glamour) confusion in group fights. I can’t say how it’d do in a power build, but I can use it just fine in a condition/confusion bunker.

Though apparently Sim is useless with it in spvp, so you could just listen to him.

I’m trying out scepter in power build but not in pvp. It seems okay – I still have trouble understanding total damage versus individual shots. The pistol seems to end with the last number between 4k and 5k pretty consistently. The scepter seems to have a final number between 2k and 3k in my build.
