Horologicus. It’s freakin hard to goolge this thing in motion. Which leads me to think… does this expensive skin have any animations at all?

I can’t find a gif or video of it moving and when i preview it doesn’t move (which means there’s no animation right?) Well i don’t 100% believe it b/c preview has failed before at showing things accurately.

I already seen several raven staffs on people but 0 people walkin around w/ the shield.

Anyone know if the shield does anything visually fancy?

It doesn’t have any moving parts at all, completely still.

I wonder if one day they’ll introduce a (probably overpriced) way to upgrade it visually. Seems like such a missed opportunity.

Hm well; the staff is a legendary and looks quite cool (although I’ve not seen it ingame yet). The shield is the reward for the specialization collection and looks quite uhm… well, not really good imo. Just like most of the rewards for specialization collections (at least those I have looked up until now… never saw any of them ingame yet… might be that I’m not the only one who feels that way).

They’re almost all ugly.
The only ones I like are Bo (Daredevil staff) and Dark Harvest (necro GS).

Yggdrasil’s carvings would have been cool if they hadn’t left the branches/roots on the stick. There’s a reason no woodcarver does that, and it’s not because they can’t.

I’m really unimpressed with the specialization weapon skins. There’s nothing really interesting about them. Horologicus is way to complex and cluttered. It should have just been an animated clock. Other weapons should have glows or other interesting markings on them. But no, a 3g exotic weapon is more interesting than something that takes forever to grind.

Eh, it’s a cheap Ascended weapon. And you can either grind it all out, or you can accrue the collection items over time if you working on something else HoT related. In my case I had already fully unlocked all 9 Elite Specs and had accidentally killed a could Treasure Mushrooms. So when I decided I wanted to pursue the weapons I spent about less than a week to unlock 4 weapons.

Derailing aside, the skin is indeed awful. I slapped Wall of the Mists on it the second I got it.
