How do you deal with Hambows?
Yeah, both PU and phantasm builds decimate hambow. Shatter is a bit tougher.
The clones will melt in the aoe. This means you can’t be lazy about setting up shatters. When you go for a shatter it has to be fast and hard. Mirror blade > leap > dodge> swap> shatter/bf. The longer you leave your clones sitting around, the more likely they’ll go to waste.
So that’s how you do your damage, how you output the burst. Inbetween burst you can keep up some pressure with phantasms, and let the warrior chew on those. You also need to stay alive though. This means dodging the big attacks. You need to dodge earthshaker and combustive shot. While difficult, you also need to try and dodge pin down. That one is hard to dodge, but if you have no condition removal it amounts to a free full hammer combo for the warrior.
Duels, hotjoin, solo queue, teamqueue or wvwvw?
Which kind of hambow, soldiers or zerker?
solo queue and both
solo queue and both
If you’re looking for solo queue as a mesmer, be sure to check out the guide in my sig.
I play hidden cat with knight amulet, don’t have problem with hambows. PU neglect the effectivity of the skill. Still I want to send in a a about the game modes in s and t pvp who benefit a few classes skills and put other in disadvantage. When are we going to see new game modes who benefit other classes and spec?
The ultimate tPvP build atm is a tree who root it to the ground, deal no dmg, apply cc and don’t take dmg. Wery boring pvp meta, Ty god for wvwvw

Depends on their level of tankiness.
Usually have no problem avoiding their attacks, unless they have a couple of friends to also keep an eye on. As for killing them, well I like to sit in staff and kite, while letting the auto attack (with elasticity) gradually wear down the hp – depending on the rate of hp loss I’ll jump in for a quick shatter burst at an appropriate moment after they’ve burnt a crucial skill or something.

lol, I can just picture a sylvari bunker build taking root on point and sitting there for the entire match.
Don’t bother going for 1v1s vs hambows in solo/team queue if they are soldiers(and zerkers if they are actully good). By the time you could have killed them they probably got help or you could have been more useful somewhere else..
