I have just unlocked Time Warp and I am not sure how quickness (skill and actions ar twice as fast) mechanic works. It seems like it doesn’t effect skill cooldowns, what does it effect then?

The speed of the attacks..no reduced cd. So you use skills twice as fast.

It actually speeds up everything. You’ll channel skills faster, Rez allies faster, and even stomp enemies faster. Pretty much if it’s an animation at all it completes faster.

this in fact about double the dps of anyone affected by time warp, making it in terms of raw dps output the one of the best (likely THE best in fact) elite in the game

Its funny because even harvesting nodes is faster, in addition to the skills and reviving etc…and considering Time Warp is an aoe….op lol :p

I love using it on the rich ori node that the champion karka guards. It’s funny watching my toon frantically mine as fast as I usually tap the “F” key.

It also works for burst repairing gates or burst building siege in WvW

It works by proccing 1 second of swiftness every second. Because of this, you can do things like stand in timewarp and then blink + stomp a player outside of the timewarp area with the quickness bonus.

Defensive time warp is highly underrated, you will become very loved in PvP if you use it for reviving people in clutch situations.

Time Warp, Chaos Storm on your ally for the aegis, get him up almost instantly while taking no damage.

And since I mentioned that, defensive Chaos Storm in itself is highly underrated, all Mesmers need to realize how strong it is for the aegis. It is not just a single aegis, it can block multiple attacks for its duration, it is basically invulnerability (unless this changed recently, I haven’t been on for a week or so).

Chaos storm is very good if you need to rez or prevent enemy from stomping them, saved a lot of allies by casting chaos storm on my ally, also then I can blink in and stun them for a longer duration using shatter#3, giving my allies even more time to either kill one of their, or NPCs if close, or another ally to rez them, as I keep enemy busy trying to kill me, also Time Warp is good, if you have low hp vs low hp, cause you can now down him fast and then quickly finish him, allowing you to recover a bit for next fight, if enemy still is near.

the only buff chaos storm reliably gives is protection, not aegis.
