How is this build?
So what makes that 1 point in illusions worth it even remotely? This is a clone-death build. When you shatter, you lose damage. 6 stacks of confusion isn’t 1200 damage, it’s 0 damage against a good player, since your condition duration is low and it’ll only last 3 seconds.
i say ditch the PU idea…it sounds like youre giving an excuse to keep it in your build cause trait line also has bleed and staff CDs. i understand, it’s ok my child we will help guide you to a better understanding. you were necro so you like to see people melt before you. my suggestion is to keep your weaponset and gear setup butchange your traits to 6/6/0/0/2 or 4/6/0/0/4. if i remember coreectly, traiting torch makes the phantom more like a disenchanter, each hit will cleanse a condition…or maybe i was dreaming it did that someone correct me if i’m wrong
well anyways that phantom help stack or reapply confusion. i play with this set up in wvw zerging or havoks with success…never tried pvping with it but i would imagine it would hold it’s own. i tell you what though, this ain’t no PU where you kick back and drinks ome sweet iced tea.. it’s a lot of work to keep that confusion to stick along along bleeds and a stack of torment, but once you see get it at the right time and see that 1000 confusion floater ticking few times the dude is already on the floor, it happens so fast and if confusion stuck long enough pass the invul from down stage..you probably won’t have to stomp him cause he probably have spam killed himself. always a nice to see that and whisper to them " that was very kind of you to kill yourself so i don’t have to waste time on stomp"
it used to be a lot easier to burst like this and mesmers didn’t need torment but we all know how much anet loves mesmers. i rambled on long enough..see yall next month…back into the cage i go.

Traited torch makes casting prestige cleanse 1 condi, casting iMage cleanse 1 condi, and there’s 1 condi cleanse on the iMage bolt bounce.

Just because I have 2 on clone death traits doesn’t make it an on clone death build. It’s a 50/50 between shatter and on death.
Also, If a player doesn’t use a single skill in 3 seconds that is great for me.
If a player uses at least 1 skills that’s 1200 dmg. But usually they will use at least 2.
If a player uses a condi clear only for a 3sec confusion….. Than wow.
It’s a win/win/win scenario.

Alright thanks for the reply. To me 0/4/5/0/0 is what I really want in my build. But I don’t like going into the first tree because of the useless power and minor traits…
