I’m a mesmer player.

When I face 1-1 with Ele, it’s a nightmare for me.

It’s impossible for me to beat them.

can anyone have any suggestion?

Honestly I think Ele is our easiest matchup.

Build for heavy boon rip and high spike damage.
Lot’s of channeled skills to proc halting off and lock em down with. Keep removing prot with gs3 and f2, once they leave water your windows open to burst em

it sounds like your having a sustain issue, because when it comes to burst and power play mesmers can overwhelm elementalists. Thought ele’s have better spike burst, we have better sustain burst with not alot of “sustain”. When im matched with an ele i use a power PU build, so i can get some of that sustain im lacking.

I also find that stealthing helps alot to get them on their long cooldowns. I stealth then blink away so they try to aoe around them, and i just watch and wait for a few seconds while they waste their powerful skills.

You need to post a bit more info OP. Is this in sPvP or WvW? What build are you using? What sort of Ele are you struggling against? D/D or S/D?

Might stacking D/D eles are really hard to beat.
Good damage output, high mobility, many cc skills and good healing. The only chance for me is to interrupt his heal rota twice.
No place for “Boon-Rip on shatter” in my build … so its hard to steal regen and might from him.
2/6/6 interrupt build with mostly full bersi equip. GS/SW/P.
Really depends if i can interrupt his heal rota.

Shatter mesmer can beat ele if played right, best time to burst is when they are just leaving earth or in fire, cry of frustration is also very useful after they leave water and to strip annoying boons like stab abd protection.
