I’m thinking about making a Mesmer, and wanted to know if a hybrid Mesmer build could still be viable for roaming?
I’ve found this old post ^^^ of a build which would be perfect with what ascended gear I have already crafted, but it’s over a year old and don’t know if it’s too out of date now. I’m just looking for some advice, on whether this build could be modified to still work with the current updates.
This is a pretty standard PU Phantasm build, and yes it still works. PU took a slight nerf in the form of adding Might and Swiftness as possible boons that can be granted in stealth, but overall this is far from crippling. The weakness of any phantasm build in a pvp/wvw roaming setting is that you will have a very hard time in match ups verses opponents with a lot of cleave and AE abilities.
