Hi guys, i just don t know what armor get, i already have zerk trinkets but i m note sure about the armor, i usually do dngs and high fractals, what do u guys suggest? and also what about the build? im atm using the “illusion build” so i just spam illusions , is this one good enough? thanks

Full berserker, follow the link in my signature.

I use knight headpiece, shoulderpiece, coat and gloves. Then berserker skirt and boots.

It puts me on exactly 2050 armor, which is nice. I have a full berserker trinket set, cavalier rings knifbt assesories and cavalier amulet. Sometimes i like putting those on for situations where you need some defense.

Usually i run full clerics nowqdays in dungeons though.

edit: a “spam illusions” build doesnt sound very promising… Care to tell ue your traits and playstyle?

Atm i have : 10(III),20(IV,II),10(IV),30(I,IV,VIII),0 and now i use my mesmer this way: just spam as many phantasm and clones as i can and just spam 2 and 4 of the gs and the swap to sword and focus and do the 5th skill and then all back again, and i stay ranged

If you want to stay at ranged youll probably want a scepter. Its muh worse than sword in most situations, bt ts ranged. Slashing the air is t going to help much.

I cant remember what chaos IV is :/. Is it compounding defense? Personally, i would put that in 20 domination instead, but its just a matter of taste.

It looks like an intact build.

Full berserker gear works, and if you find you need more survivability, you can always buy some cavalier or knight assesoiries!

If you’re staying at range, you’re killing the point of using sword. If you go in melee, it kills the point of using greatsword.

about the trinkets, i don’t want to change them couse i ve amost all of them ascended so what about the armor? should i change few pieces? and i dont use to go melee couse i die pretty easily..

You won’t die if you pay attention to what you’re fighting.

This means not just looking in their general dircetion, but watching for attacks. Then when they attack, blurred frenzy, evade or iRiposte.

what iRiposte means? anyway, so i ll just keep my gear?(full zerk) and what about my build , should i change something o just leave that way? also what about runes and sigils ? sorry if im annoying xD

Illusionary Riposte, it’s a skill if you have off-hand sword equipped.

Use sword/sword + sword/pistol, and then for situations where you need to position mobs (like throwing against a wall) or fighting multiple enemies, swap the off-hand sword out for focus.

Don’t use greatsword unless range is required.

It takes a little practice but you’ll quickly learn what weapons are best for certain encounters and you’ll be able to switch them around moving in between fights without even thinking about it.

are u sure that a zerk melee mesm is good eough? and should i follow any kind of rotation about the sword skills?

Zerk melee mesmer isn’t just good enough, it’s the best you can be.

I’m pretty sure I wrote a rotation on the thread in my signature. It generally involves dropping a phantasm, swapping weapons, dropping your second phantasm and then just autoattack until weapon swap is ready, swap, drop third phantasm, repeat. In case of heavy attacks you can use things like blurred frenzy, iRiposte, magic bullet and depending on the situation, feedback.
