In my last twelve games i died ONCE. And stomped about a dozen of different mesmers. How do you ppl manage?

Well, I imagine every one of the dozen different mesmers you stomped would have some idea of how they managed to die.

Sadly, it seems that using their “behind on the keyboard,” as Grimreaper puts it, didn’t help them.

…maybe it’s NOT so easy “even a noob can do it”??

Congrats. The Devs must have read your post and decided on a last minute adjustment to upcoming Mesmer balance patch…

I find it very easy to die. last 3 times I died, twice in blurred frenzy, and once in distortion. “evade all attacks” my fat *. THANKS a-net.

Just survived a stompage in ranked; my “team” was driven before them and slaughtered. Me? I managed to snag 3 kills. S3 nuke plus stealth stomp rocks.

“Being useful” and “being nice, obedient expendabro” is very often quite the same is it not? Did i lost something? Nope. I won 3 kills on reckless butchers, sanity and self-control.

Your team lost horribly, so clearly not. Being useful would be figuring out how to win.

I got it figured already. You have to gamble/premade decent teammates that do reasonably more stomps than suicides. So it is possible to stealth revive them at all.

But yes, explaining to stupid suiciders what they are is not going to work. Because their suicides and the ages old mankind tradition of stupid suicide makes them pretty immune to reason. Watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ulguKSCTZD0

I got it figured already. You have to gamble/premade decent teammates that do reasonably more stomps than suicides. So it is possible to stealth revive them at all.

I bet you are really popular with people, getting a decent team shouldn’t be a problem at all. Just pick the best out of your friend list, win tournaments, play for a living, make your life a success.

So i took a mesmer girl as a temporary apprentice to observe her and ask how she dies. After some time she admitted she simply doesnt knows when and where to go and how to engage/disengage and just runs in and mashes buttons. Yep, one game she was stomped on cap alone by a five catmen angry mob. I suspected faceroll factor figures in there somewhere, now i have proof.

Pro tip:
1) Force out the evades
2) Burst on the blocks. Use unblockables XD

your chrono build seems pretty nice, how is it compared to a dom/duel/chrono build?

Now I’m not sure what build you’re referring to XD

If it’s the chrono build in my sig, then no. Dueling is an unnecessary trait line for Chrono. Sure there’s a couple nice traits in there, but you’ll be better off with Inspiration (condi cleanse/utility) or Chaos (Heavier CC, might stacking, boons, etc). Hell, depending on what you’re running, Illusions is a better trait line that opens up some nice playstyles and effects.

I don’t even know what dueling is anymore. Dueling is dead to me.
