So, I’ve been wondering: does the trait only work for phantasms? Or can illusions who do a 0 crit ALSO put that bleed on?

Both Clones and Phantasms cause bleed on crit.

Phantasms that hit multiple times (e.g. the rapid firing Duelist, the whirling Warden) can apply multiple bleeds.

Unfortunately there is a bug related with crit-bleeds:
When you shatter your illusions, all the bleeds they have caused will stop doing damage! They are still shown as a bleed stack icon on the mob/enemy, but they wont do anymore damage. So if you want to deal damage with crit bleeds, avoid using shatter abilities.

Illusion = Clones and Phantasms.

Clones also put bleeds on.

Clones that crit for 0 put a stack of bleed on, too Enjoy!

And clones also deal damage, when you deal more damage. Just at low level it’s floored to 0.

And as easter bug (however it’s considered officially) even the plants of sylvari skills cause bleedings, but don’t have your condiDmg.

Illusions represent both Clones and Phantas.

It’s also a great trait.
