Illusion of Drowning
Very weird – especially to be highlighted in this preview when there are many more crucial things to fix/change.
Anyway, I’m indifferent to this one.

It doesnt hit multiple targets it hits multi times to same targt (x6) now basically they decided not to let it hit multiple times and rather just one big ol hit so in reality its not really a buff or anything i bet its just a fix to somewhat change it to more bursty.
Sounds like they couldn’t get it to hit 6 times (note the bug on the wiki) so they changed it to be 1 big hit instead.
From all the bugs, they obviously chose the most urgent one to fix.
Yay!

The problem with IoD was that if the enemy was too close to the “floor”, the skill would end early and not deliver the full 6x packets of damage. Having it in one single packet at the start is a good change, although I hope they retain the same sink duration.
Im glad that we were listened to and a bad change was rethought. But i worry when items that were off the radar for most of us are the only things that are getting openly discussed by the devs. It makes me think that the planned changes are either so massive they cant discuss them or they are non existent and there is nothing to discuss.
A simple statement of the overall goal of the changes would go a long way to put my mind at ease, or to at least let me understand whats supposed to be happening instead of thinking the devs are just throwing darts.
Keep in mind that this is also a preview. I’m hoping that there are more changes to come.
