Illusionary Invigoration : Please Add
I know this was addressed in the stream, and written down by Jon? I think he wrote down that it should be looked, but I would prefer this not just be looked at but added either to a trait or as a stand alone master trait.
Citizens who play any form of shatter will probably agree with me when I say it is an absolute staple to the build and a large portion of the survival and rapid shatter outputs especially when playing any form of zerker shatter.
The mesmer changes in general I feel have been very thoughtful ( with the exception of DE not being a baseline) but thats whatever. So this is my petition to make sure this trait is added back into its traitline.
-Thanks
I also think its an essential survival trait for shatter and it would create a lot of synergy with a number of traits. Move phantasmal haste out and add illusionary invigoration in
I would suggest combining http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Illusionary_Invigoration with http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Phantasmal_Haste which is already in the new triat system to fit them both in the 3 per tier limit. There is no reason to “remove” either just combine them into one. It makes sense and Isn’t overpowered since if your shattering enough to make use of the at 50% Recharge your phantasms wont be alive long a enough to make use of their Haste.

Agreed, this would work well imo.
My vote is to merge both Persistence of Memory and Phantasmal Haste (both specifically relative to Phantasms) and to place Illusionary Invigoration in the freed up slot. I suggest this in consideration of PvE in the scenario where you have 3 Phantasms up with your signet off recharge and a few odd seconds left on Phantasm recharges. This will also suit Double Ranged Shatter builds as they wouldn’t take The Pledge, Malicious Sorcery, nor would they effectively use Sum of All Fears.

Bump, can this be addressed please? As stated the master line in Illusions has no options for berserker shatter play. A good suggestion would be: combine phantasmal haste with the GM in inspirations(Illusionary Inspiration) to open up the slot. then you could add Shatter Invigoration back.
Thanks, please read this anet!
So much this. Illusions line is supposed to specialize in shatters, but there is no shatter master trait. Instead we have 2 condi traits and 1 phantasm trait??? This is tge perfect place for illusionary invigoration.
^ Usually only characer that i play on
Yes please, it’s very important trait in shatter build.
Agreed. It should really be added, especially that in its current form, the new illusion trait line has NO SHATTER TRAITS in the Master slot. In a line dedicated to shatters, that’s a bit lame.
Bump, maybe one of these threads can get some word from the Devs?
As adept trait it would be a no brainer, and no one would take the other ones.
As master trait it would be easy pick on power builds, but tough choice on condi builds.
In my fantasies it would be minor master trait and IC would be baseline.
WvW Roaming with Mesmer
First off, I think it’s a bit disingenuous to say this trait is a staple in every shatter build considering double ranged shatter mesmers tend to take elasticity. And even some shatter mes taking torch choose to take elasticity as well. That being said, there’s no denying that invigoration increases shatter efficiency by a ton, and I agree that it should be incorporated somewhere.
My suggestion is to move phantasmal haste into the inspiration line and place invigoration there in its place. There’s definitely room for reorganization in the inspiration line…
