It just does not work!

Use it on an incline, you teleport back to same location.
Use it on a moving target, you teleport where they were, not where they are.
Use it and they just get out of range, the skill fails.
The root rarely takes hold

OMG its pretty much the most important skill for sword users and its totally broken!

It is quite buggy on hills, try blink before using the teleport on IL or wait a second or two to use the teleport on it, the clone cripples the enemy first.

Where have you been, broken since game release. I wish Anet would just fix the broken first and stop trying to tweak everything. Its like wiping before you have gone…… just dumb.

Same thing happens with all leap skills. Guardians leap of faith/bulls rush all mostly over shoot or rubber band or spaz out on slight inclines. Therefore it is balanced.

Just to add to the list, this morning I used it on the Champion Risen Spider at the Temple of Melandru event. Guess where I ended up?

…turns out there’s water inside the hill, you can actually swim inside the mountain! Luckily you also leave combat after a while so you can port out. Yup, it’s Phase Retreat all over again, good job Bugnet!!!

The problem is technical. Blinks have always been buggy in any mmo since mmo’s were first developed.

The fact that blink works as well as it does is still impressive to me.

Sadly it’s just a problem of games and the X/Y axis.

Good luck with that. Thieves have been begging since launch for a shadowstep (y’know, only that mechanic tied directly to their F1 key) that doesn’t get stuck on pebbles. Magic 8 Ball says: “Outlook not so good”.

I don’t get anet some times, this is so easy to fix… instead of giving the clone a leap to target, why doesn’t the clone spawn directly on target? We wouldn’t have to skill bugged for 10 months if this was the case

I was actually thinking the same thing as Nuke Cola.
they can just make the clone appears next to target like iZerker, and then do its dash attack.
because so far iZerker never had issues with elevation/ slopes.

regarding blinks… there are 1 time I blink to the bottom of the map in spvp, by bottom I mean UNDER the battleground map
