Since the patch, in tournaments, whenever I spawn an illusion (phantasm or clone) they appear naked – no weapons or clothes. And as such they do not attack.

It’s almost like they are going “oh no, I wasn’t ready, i don’t have my make-up on yet”.

But seriously, this has rather broken mesmer in tourneys, please fix ASAP.

I am having this issue, as are many other people. No reply from ANet yet.

Saw a picture with an ANet employee directly in front of one of these in a tPvP match, so I’m pretty sure they are aware of it.

Would be better if they would just /dance while they were naked though.

A) A warrior
and
B) Laughing

So would it kill them to post saying “hey we know this is a problem, we’re working on it?”

It’s PR 101, someone at ANet should understand that.

They’re too busy staking mesmers in torurns atm.

Confirmed this problem. Mesmer is absolutely unplayable now in sPvP. Naked clones that only stand in place as op described.

I’ve still not experienced it in sPvP. I have noticed it in tPvP though, and I have a theory. . .

With Mesmers being out of tournament contention at all. . . how does it affect the meta game? If it’s massive, why? If it’s not, can they be buffed without worrying about the effect on the meta?

If you remove something completely from a specific area you get to see the void left behind, and in that void does something else take the place comfortably. Does the higher movespeed gained by Eles allow them to be Treb controllers? What all changes? Most of this would be easy to tell even in a short time span since so many people will have tried something else so they could continue playing rather than not play at all.

This is a tournament only issue.

This weekend’s been rather wasted as far as tourneys go because of this.
