Guild Wars 2

I am totally new to the game, and have playing with mesmer for a while. I am loving him, and after looking some builds and guides I thought about doing Condition Mesmer.
Yet, after looking others guides, I realized some people said it isnt good, because its not a reliable damage (You need a bit of luck with your 1 skill on Staff seens like).
Is it good? For a newb player overall, can I manage to do it?
Oh, good to mention I am doing my char to PvP :p

For WvW, condition builds work fine – confusion shatter builds and glamour builds will both be pretty successful (in my experience at least). With confusion hitting for so much less in sPvP, don’t think you’ll enjoy the same level of success – but sPvP isn’t really my thing, not speaking from experience there.

It’s fun because people don’t get it. You can spam glamour fields from everywhere if traited for blinds/confusion accordingly (behind a gate for example) and people will happily kill themselves. Plus you apply mass blinds, which reduces the zergs dps while giving your allies quickness at the same time. Simply fun.

PS: in PvE it sucks so badly, you’ll play WvW forever…
