Is illusionary leap going to be fixed?
Hum, you sure you were in range or nothing was obstructing the target?
Just asking cause i havent come across this problem yet.
Will trst further at home
unlike other illusion summoning skills, illusionary leap has half the range, so you have to be quite close to your target for the clone to be created.
I must admit that Illusionary Leap’s short distance is one of the things I’d tweak with the class. I gather it was longer in Beta, but they changed it? For me, I’d say that if it were a third to a half as long as it it is again, that would be much more comfortable and intuitive.
only problem it has right now is the illusion getting stucked to often at the terrain therefore u dont the the immobilize NOR the cripple.
the range…. yeah its not that big and i too believe it was 750 in beta but i can live with the 600 as well
therefore im sorry if i just posted some outdated stuff
also maybe a similar thread exists already, in that case im sorry for double post.
The ability is very, very buggy. I am not sure if it has terrain pathing issues, I am aware of the range and I am well under 600, I cast it and the clone doesn’t appear but the ability act’s like it does. Other times i’ve used the switch and ended up in a defferent place to the clone, this needs fixing really.

I’ve had some problems with it as well, and a lot of times it has to do with terrain. I think that the clone needs to quite literally leap toward the target when summoned, so that, provided we summon it within proper distance and LoS, it hops over most terrain issues.
Right now when you summon it it just kind of glides to the target, it doesn’t get up in the air or anything, which I feel would really solve the problem with having it halt over small terrain shifts, like tiny crevices or uphill slopey things.

Most of the time I summon mine nothing happens. Maybe there was a stray leaf in the wind I didn’t see, a small root in the ground or it just doesn’t like inclines.
The major gripe I have with it is that the range check is done at the start of the cast. Meaning that if I start casting it while out of range, but finish it while in range, it will not spawn.
Only time i ever get the illusion to apear is when i’m on top of my opponent. Otherwise nothing happens when i use the skill.
