So is this just me fooling myself, my computer lagging or did they increase the timer between when you finish the cast of iBerserker and when it does its first attack ?
mine attacks immediately. the only time it doesn’t get off its first attack is if i spawn it into 2-3 heavy aoe effects, and dies right as it spawns
Usually I could count on it doing its aoe while still appearing, now I have to wait till it has completely appeared on my screen before it does anything. I havent done any form of PvP since this “change” but it looks like it would be very easy to evade now.
Update:
Monsters always get 1 attack off on my iBerserker now before it does its attack (if I start the fight off with GS4), if its a mob that hits hard my iBerserker will die before doing anything. This is definately buggy.
Further update:
Figured out what is causing the bug. I had changed the “your phantasms have fury” trait to the one that increases range on manipulation skills. When I changed back the iBerserker reverted to its old workings. That is definately a bug
I was understanding it to be the minor trait Vengeful Images (5 in Inspiration) that caused them to have an accelerated attack time. I’ll have to test tonight and see if either/both have this bug associated. However, phantasms should attack immediately upon summon no matter what. As you described, when you don’t have this trait, they die often without doing anything.
Further update:

Yep got this same issue two days ago and can confirm this if you swap the phant fury trait the iberserker becomes the iderper and takes 1,5 seconds before he lauch his first attack.

Profit before they fix it so Furry doesn’t accelerate it’s opening cast.
Either retalliation or fury does it. But they should work this way, anyway. Half the time if you summon a phantasm (iWarden hihi) which spawns in melee it dies literally before it even finishes appearing, let alone attacking.
When they attack immediately, at least you can usually get one hit of damage off before it’s destroyed and on a 16s cooldown.

Summon Phantasmal Warden (untraited) on a boss in an explorable dungeon 10 times and observe how long it generally lives for.
If you’re very very lucky it might spawn behind the boss and get two entire attacks off, but most of the time it’s half of one attack or it dies as soon as it spawns.
Since the Warden is stationary, if it does live longer, chances are it’s because the mob wandered off and your warden is now attacking thin air.

Yes this is a known bug, if you do not have fury or retaliation treated on your phantasms, there will be a delay before they start their attack.
