Guild Wars 2

I just hit 80 today but I’m still wearing level 70 rares/exotics, unfortunately I do not have enough gold to upgrade to level 80 Exotics but I do have a ton of Karma.

My build at the moment focuses on Power, Precision, Crit Damage and I run 20-20-0-20-10.
I use GS and Sword/Focus. From what I gather there isn’t a Karma Armour with P-P-C so what would be the next best thing?

I really enjoy Staff but haven’t been able to find a good build that fits well, I also enjoy S/S or S/P, I wouldn’t mind having to change my build and focus more on condition damage.

I just need a decent build that would work well with Karma armor until I am able to save up enough CoF tokens.

Anyway, you can try dungeon token vendors. Each one sells 3 different stat sets. Just find the one you feel is worth your while and go for it. If you’re concerned about looks, you can always use fine transmutation stones to get the look you want.

Hey, I personally wouldn’t invest karma into armour because a) it’s expensive and b) dungeon armour is more easily attainable. Unless of course you specifically wanted the Orr karma skins.

It looks like you’re going with full zerker gear so I would recommend trying one of the shatter builds.

if you want to deal damage, the only 2 armor stat combo’s you should be looking at is berserkers for GS or rabid for staff. rampagers if you’re really adventurous, but not recommended for someone new.

I can’t agree with this. I switched from Rabid to Rampager when I was almost always the last one standing in boss fights but did pitiful damage if my clones were killed repeatedly. Now, with runes and other addons to buff my toughness and vitality, I’m personally doing most of my damage. Anything the illusions add is icing on the cake.

Eh – I’m mostly Rabid and do ok. Although, I have retweaked my trinkets to include Exquisite Coral Jewels. This way, one gets the durability of Rabid, pretty nice Precision/Condi, and some Power for straight damage. Seems to be working well, thus far.

I just like to say karma armour is about the easiest to get . Do daily and save the jugs. You get a karma booster from one of the later epics. When you hit 80, use the karma booster and drink your jugs of karma BAM insta 200+k of karma enough to get 5 piece of karma armour. Now if you power leveled your guy in like 3 days this wouldn’t work otherwise it’s pretty straight forward.

Mesmer is the least DPS of the ranged classes. If you want to go glass cannon I recommend…well every other ranged class first. Mesmer shines as a support role.
