Kiting with no walk backwards
I always use a free camera and I’m constantly keeping the camera on my opponent, no matter which direction i’m facing or running, by using the left click button, and to change directions of my character i use the right click. I started doing this in WoW when I decided to be more competitive in pvp. It was hard for me to get used to. I honestly had to level a character from scratch with all the changes just to get used to it.
While I know I’m aware of it, it’s funny how this reminds me I’m always running toward (pressuring) my opponent with my build/playstyle. That said, Hot Boy has it right with free camera, and also this helps a ton

Making the use of your hands/fingers in a more efficient manner helps you to manage things like camera panning etc.
Thanks much. It turns out I didn’t have free camera movement enabled… uggh…. so whenever I switched between left mouse button for looking and right mouse button for turning, my camera snapped forward again. Looks like I’ll still need lots of practice, but this is going to be better. Thx!
I do have a Logitech 8-button mouse. It really makes a big difference. My fingers are short enough that I really never use the F keys or the number keys because it’s just unreliable that I hit the right one in the heat of battle
I turn my camera back to look at the chasers. A lot of the skills can be fired without los like GS#4. kite is not all running. The art is to run and stop then run . You got to let them think there is a CHANCE of caching you or else they will just peel off.
free camera is your best friend.
I also use about face, which allows you to see what is behind you when running in the opposite direction, very efficient with a press of a key.
