Hi,

PvP Mesmer come in two form today, the 9xx – 11xx Toughness and the 2xxx Toughness. The 9xx Toughness play GS/Staff + Sword-Pistol. The 2xxx Toughness use Staff + Sword-Pistol and few use the S/S+S/P setup.

We have seen many game play clips for the 9xx Toughness type but none for the 2xxx Toughness types, if any knows of such a clip please link it.

He wants someone to provide a comparison video between a mesmer with ~900 toughness and ~2000 toughness.

That or just game play of 2xxx Toughness game play.

Would be interesting. Also I had mixed success bringing a Phantasmal Defender into it, which most folks don’t do. But when I did use it, the gain in durability was very palpable.

I actually swear by Phantasmal Defender. It’s such a benefit due to the added Regen/Protection on top of it’s innate damage reduction.

Only issue is finding a slot of it on the bar, which for me, came at the cost of my condition removal. I countered this by going Lyssa build with Mass Invisibility.
